The
London Packet, Master Glass was a
brig of 120 tons burden, single decked with beams with a draught of 11 ft. when
loaded. Built in Portsmouth in 1783 and owned by Thomas, she held a G8
classification and was described as a constant trader between Dublin and London.[1]
The
London Packet, Captain Glass, has been wrecked west of the bay of Tramore, and
all the hands perished. There are 17 chests of tea, one bundle of hemp and some
staves saved.[2]
